Loteprednol product with CAS: 129260-79-3 is also known as 17a-Hydroxy-11b-hydroxy-3-oxoandrosta-1,4-diene-17-carboxylic acid chloromethyl ester; Chloromethyl (1S,2R,10S,11S,14R,15S,17S)-14,17-dihydroxy-2,15-dimethyl-5-oxotetracyclo[8.7.0.02,7.011,15]heptadeca-3,6-diene-14-carboxylate. This product can be used as a working standard or secondary reference standard (additional internal validation as per respective FDA regulations/guidelines may require). Loteprednol is used in Loteprednol impurity profiling as per limits and threshold values specified by respective drug legislation, FDA, and pharmacopoeial guidelines during commercial production of Loteprednol and its related formulations.
