Scopoline product with CAS: 487-27-4 is also known as (3S,4S,5S,7S)-6-Methyl-2-oxa-6- azatricyclo-[3.3.1.0 {3,7}]nonan-4-ol. Tiotropium is a bronchodilator that relaxes muscles in the airways and increases air flow to the lungs. Tiotropium is used to prevent bronchospasm (narrowing of the airways in lungs) in people with COPD (Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), including bronchitis and emphysema.
