Sofosbuvir α-isomer

Sofosbuvir α-isomer product with CAS: NA is also known as (2S)-isopropyl 2-((((2R,3R,4R,5S)-5-(2,4-dioxo-3,4-dihydropyrimidin-1(2H)-yl)-4-fluoro-3-hydroxy-4-methyltetrahydrofuran-2-yl)methoxy)(phenoxy)phosphorylamino)propanoate. This product can be used as a working standard or secondary reference standard. Additional internal validation as per respective FDA regulations/guidelines may require. It is used in Sofosbuvir impurity profiling as per limits and threshold values specified by respective drug legislation, FDA, and pharmacopoeial guidelines. Moreover, (2S)-isopropyl 2-((((2R,3R,4R,5S)-5-(2,4-dioxo-3,4-dihydropyrimidin-1(2H)-yl)-4-fluoro-3-hydroxy-4-methyltetrahydrofuran-2-yl)methoxy)(phenoxy)phosphorylamino)propanoate is also used in the process of Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) filing to FDA and toxicity study of respective drug formulation.
